Digitalprojekt 4 GmbH (DP4) began as an innovation subsidiary of EWE AG, Germany's fifth-largest energy provider. Our team’s first project was AMPERAS, where we created a digitized marketplace for energy supply contracts. Later, we created energieberater.io, where we offered tailored energy consulting for SMEs across Germany using our AMPERAS platform.

In 2021, we pivoted to electromobility, securing funding and proudly joining EWE Go by mid-2023. EWE Go is building 100% renewable energy powered charging stations across Germany, and together we're committed to supporting Germany's growing e-mobility industry. Our teams focus on creating cutting-edge digital solutions that enable a
smooth charging experience for electric vehicle users.

As of January 2024, DP4 has 17 employees, and as an international team, we pride ourselves on our open-minded, dedicated, and friendly culture. Together we crafted a set of values below, which are Making an Impact, Having Fun, Trusting the Team, and Staying Focused.

About us
DP4 was founded at the end of 2018 by Dr. Ilan Momber and Daan Löning. With strong backgrounds in energy and software development, Ilan and Daan have since turned our startup into a lean but powerful team of experts who together build and support awesome digital tools.
With international backgrounds stemming from 12+ countries, our team brings both professional and cultural diversity to the e-mobility industry in Berlin.
